Malabrigo Rios is a much-loved yarn for its softness and incredible colors. The four plies add strength and help resist pilling and the fact that it’s machine washable, makes it perfect for almost any project. Rios, a premium superwash merino, is great for next-to-the-skin wear, plus it comes in an array of watercolor-multi, tonal and variegated colors.

Many colors do not have dye lots, and those that do, are dyed in lots of 10. Any project requiring more than 10 skeins will require more than one dye lot.

Note about Hand Dyed Yarns – While we love the exquisite colors available in hand dyed yarns, there can be significant variations from skein to skein. Please follow these guidelines to ensure success:

    • Purchase enough yarn to complete your project, allowing for a bit of overage, just in case!
    • Not all differences in skeins are obvious when comparing skeins.
    • For projects that require 2 or more skeins, we highly recommend blending your skeins by using 2 balls at once, alternating every couple of rows from each ball. This should blend any variations between skeins.
