    Brioche Cabled Mitts

    Brioche Cabled Mitts

    Wednesday mornings, November 6, 13 & 20 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm

3 classes, each class is 2 hours

    Skills Learned:
Once you know two-color brioche in the round, you’re ready to learn another brioche technique. In this class you will learn brioche double stitch and how to make true cables in brioche (not the mock-cable effects) and you will work thumb gussets. The pattern (Beech Mountain Mitts) is named for a trail in Acadia National Park, making these mitts extra special for knitters in Maine. You will have enough yarn to knit at least one more additional pair as a gift.

Must be competent to independently knit, purl, cast-on, bind-off, must have taken Beginning Brioche or be competent to do two-color brioche in the round.

Pattern, yarn, 2 hours of instruction.

    Additional Info:
Bring your own US 5 needles (circular or DPN's), and 2 cable needles. Bring smaller needle size if you tend to knit more loosely.
