Skills Learned:
The Weekender pullover is one of the most popular sweaters on the knitting scene right now! It’s knit in one piece, starting at the bottom, separating the back and front at the underarm, rejoining and then picking up stitches to knit the drop-shoulder sleeves. Andrea Mowry’s pattern uses a tubular cast-on which will be taught in the first class. While much of the sweater is straightforward knitting, details like the short-row shoulders offer the intermediate knitter plenty to keep them on their toes! Photos courtesy of Andrea Mowry.
